Profile and listings
Take care of your profile: a simple bio, a city, a sharp photo. When you list a piece, say what matters — fabric, size, how long it was worn, what the buyer needs to know. Private files (ID, proof of *Worn By Me*) stay between you and the team. They never appear on your shop.
Be visible and build trust
The more Distinctions you have, the more your profile inspires trust — and the more buyers feel ready to order. Over time you unlock frames around your profile photo: they make you more visible and more eye-catching in the shop thanks to their animations. More frames will arrive very soon so you can personalise your profile. Sales badges grow with completed orders: the more you sell, the stronger the badge, the higher the trust.
DistinctionsMedia quality and *Worn By Me*
Your photos and videos should be as sharp as possible. They can be teasing and sensual, they should make people want to discover you, without slipping into vulgarity, and while following MyWornSkin photo rules (no pornographic content, no visible genitals). You’ll find them here: Community rules (/guidelines). Proof of *Worn By Me*, with or without your face, stays private. It is only for verification, never for your public shop.
Community rulesPrice, postage and label proof
We, at MyWornSkin, take a 15% commission so we can run the site, bring you buyers and make selling easier. You receive 85% of the item sale price, excluding shipping. Shipping is paid by the buyer at checkout. For shipping: you pay for the label first, and we refund the exact amount as soon as you send a photo where the price is readable. Pack the piece in a ziplock, then a second plain wrap. When you have finished wearing the item, ship ideally within 24 hours. Then, within 48 hours, add the carrier, service and tracking number. The label photo stays private.
Packaging and supplier invoices
EU rules cover packaging (PPWR). Choose suitable pouches and keep your invoices. Easiest path: buy bags and envelopes from a supplier in France or the EU. If you often ship to another EU country, check whether a local registration is needed — support can point you.
Customs, payout and good habits
If you ship outside the EU, tell the buyer: customs fees and import VAT are on them. On the parcel, declare the real value (CN22 / CN23) — don’t understate it. A simple wording is enough: personal textile item sold on a marketplace. For payouts: once sales are completed and you reach the €50 threshold, request a Stripe or PayPal transfer from your wallet. We’re here if something gets stuck. What works best: regular listings, sharp photos, a quick reply. You don’t need to overdo it — just be clear and present.
